Nestled on a 5-acre farm in the serene Kapiti Plains of Machakos County, we are Kenya's original glamping dome destination — a place to escape the city, watch epic sunsets over the plains, and fall asleep under a Milky Way sky.
Our three uniquely designed geodomes each carry a Swahili name from the wildlife of the plains: Twiga, Ndovu, and Punda Milia. Each dome offers a distinct personality while sharing the same commitment to genuine comfort in nature.

Each dome is a world unto itself — uniquely furnished, intimately scaled, and oriented to capture the best of the Kapiti Plains panorama.
Twiga
Named for the elegant giraffe that occasionally graces the plains below, Twiga is our signature dome -- elevated, airy, with a wraparound deck and soaring views of the savanna in every direction.
Ndovu
Bold and commanding as its namesake, Ndovu is our most spacious dome -- with a private upstairs loft bedroom, an indoor wood-burning fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, en-suite bathroom, generous deck, cabana, plunge pool, and fire pit. The panoramic dome windows frame sweeping views of the Kapiti Plains.

Our newest dome, Punda Milia, is a cosy retreat for two -- designed for slow mornings, starlit evenings, and the kind of quiet that only the Kapiti Plains can offer. Enjoy the hot tub on top of the dome, watch the sun drop behind the plains, and fall asleep under a sky full of stars.

A fantastic place to relax, we loved it! 🙂 We stayed two nights between the first and second weeks of our trip to Kenya. The goal was to unwind before continuing our journey. The garden is lovely, as is the dome itself. We cooked our own meals. The kitchen is small but functional. There's also a jacuzzi on the terrace. I highly recommend this place!

This place is out of this world! I don't have enough adjectives to describe it. The stay was very relaxing with amenities such as an outdoor jacuzzi, bath tub, bonfire place, swimming pool, etc. The dome is spectacular and very cozy including a kitchenette and two seating / relaxation areas. The space both inside the dome and outside is meticulously thought out for perfect comfort. The location is excellent for a not-far-off getaway weekend. Just about an hour from Nairobi CBD. My soul was at peace here 😌 ✨️
